As first generation Argentine immigrants, our family has always built community through the food we gather around. Our Dad’s famous ’Asados’ (barbecues) and Mom’s Chimichurri were our way to share tradition and delicious dishes with new friends. With the help of organizations like Hacienda and Portland Mercado, Prosper Portland, GYRM, Built Oregon, and the OSU Food Innovation Center, La Porteña was born in May of 2019. La Porteña is committed to growing a diverse food economy, supporting our farmers, and building strong communities between growers and producers. With fresh, authentic food, we bring our tradition to your table.
