The directory will be a reliable source for information on Oregon foods and the people who create them. Connecting Oregonians directly with the growers, makers, sellers and food events in our great state will contribute to more vibrant, sustainable and connected food systems throughout Oregon.
This initial launch of OregonTaste.com includes Oregon’s local producers who sell fresh foods directly to consumers--like farmers, fishers, ranchers, roadside stands, u-pick fields, orchards, pumpkin patches and more!
It will soon expand to include Oregon food products, manufactured or processed in Oregon, prepared foods and meals (restaurants and food carts), wine, beer, spirits and other beverages, and listings of food events across the state.
As a public service project, there will be no fees charged to appear in or use the directory. OregonTaste.com will also list a full array of the state’s food-related non-profits, agencies, and food organizations, along with links to websites offering food access guidance.
